Edits you-know-who's model and sprites into the Black Mask outfit, and changes their Persona to match. I've been working on this on and off for a while, and occasionally posted about it in since-retired channels; this post is here partly for liveblogging/documentation but also for me to post problems as they come up because i only started learning anything about modeling for this one project and i might actually have a psychotic breakdown

been trying to replace his sword with a lightly-resized ver of the saw saber model in royal...its not going great lmao
im preeeeeeeetty sure i can identity the problem with the textures, im just saving that for after i figure out how to rig the damn sword properly
(the cape animations are also just scuffed in general, but again, want to fix the sword first)
(i know very little about modeling or blender and what i do know is shit ive learned specifically for this, so please be patient with my bs lol)
observation: the 3d model doesnt have the straps at the start of his sleeves
debating whether to add them to the 2d art for canon-accuracy or leave them out for consistency with the model

tangent, would it be too much to let you select a .cxi file here, i got around it by manually editing config.xml but it seems more user friendly to let you select it in aemulus
this question brought to you by the fact that i bought q2 digitally and theres no goddamn way to get a .3ds file from a digital copy and i was too lazy to pirate and my dumb ass didnt think of the simple solution that was editing config.xml until after id wasted most of my day failing to wring google for shit that could convert my .cia or .cxi
