[P5R] Faster game entry times / development support.

Hi everyone. So I decided to restart a rebalance project I was working on last year, and I would like to know 2 things.

[a] Is it possible to get the game to load into my save faster, i.e: getting to skip all the introductory stuff.

[b] Would there be anyone willing to help design enemies around the concept of "Merciless Plus", which is a mod that aims to rebalance the enemies to make Merciless an actual challenge.

Can you clarify what you mean by A? Do you mean a faster way to go from launch to the load screen?

If I understand it right, I think they want to skip all the early tutorials, so from the introduction at the casino to the first few chunks of Kamoshida's Palace, so you can go straight into actual gameplay

I think they might just be talking about intro skip?

The way it’s worded makes it sound like they want to be able to get in game and load their save faster so they can test changes quickly during development.

Thanks. so yes, in summary, I am looking for something along these lines.

Because as it stands, I have to load into the title, select save, be in the right spot ect. Being in the correct spot is easy enough due to ZMenu and Save anywhere thankfully.

Enable intro skip in persona essentials

Will at least skip the intro logos etc

You probably won't get too much faster than that, because iirc a lot of loading happens in the background before the title screen appears that shouldn't be skipped

(when the buildings are flashing past etc)

What exactly is it you’re trying to test, anyway?

Pretty much any time trying to test the difficulty curve of the whole game.

"Does this enemy have too much health" "Does this enemy do way too much damage" ect.

The easiest way to test things like that in my experience is to just use the Amecitia mod menu to call specific encounters. It’s how I’ve been doing it.

Heh, if Amecitia is more stable than ZMenu I'll give it a shot.

I use both.

ZMenu is better for some things, Amecitia for others.

ZMenu regularly crashes the game tbh

I know it crashes for me when I try to call boss/miniboss encounters.

Amecitia doesn’t do that.

For me it crashes every 20 mins or so.
