#how to open and edit the . bed files in the skills folder inside the extracted base.cpk

hello everyone, my problem is I'm trying to make my own custom skills for persona 5 royal but unfortunately don't know how to open .bed files
in the skills folder on persona 5 royal steam version, before you ask, I already extracted the base.cpk file and setup my mod folders for my custom skill mod.

My (quite limited) understanding is that beds are like archive that contain stuff for effect models and animations like rise's support animations. You should be able to use pio's bedtools to do stuff with them

There's also amd tools I guess might be useful for this kind of stuff (I really know absolutely nothing about 3d modelling stuff, this is all just from seeing conversations and posts about it so I might be wrong)

  1. Use epl tool to find the model you want to replace (if nothing shows up check texture)
  2. Make edits to said model and save as a NEW .gmd somewhere else
  3. Open up your edited model, original model, and the .bed or .epl in 010
  4. Identify texture or something easy at top of original model so you can locate it's header (or just copy it's header and search for it in .bed)
