This might actually be possible without hardcode CBT if it's anything like p3p and I'm remembering the scheduler bfs correctly 🤔
There are so many better ways of doing this
I feel like outright punishing the player and not giving NG+ won't do anything because

It's not clear they missed the best ending because of this

They're installing a mod, it implies they do know the best ending exists already just from doing this
If your concern is overwriting the one save slot that is kind of a skill issue
but you can make it even moreso by explicitly letting the player know they did not experience the true ending instead
Some players do like going through the game a second time for a different ending even if it sounds pointless to most
