#Fixing Merciless mode

I wanted to know how difficult it would be to remove some of the more unsavory aspects of Royal's Merciless mode such as the increased money/exp and the 3x damage boosts for weaknesses, crits and technicals in general.

Here's some ideas to make the game harder:
make enemies hit harder and have more health.
Remove the increased damage multiplier for hitting weaknesses from the party but keep it for the enemies.
Make the enemy AI smarter in general. They should use buffs, cancel out your buffs, and target your weaknesses more frequently.
Give enemies more skills / stronger skills that counter your team
Give enemies baton pass (or something similar)
You earn less money / xp

I mean, stuff like smarter AI and more skills for enemies would be fantastic to have (I would kill for a P5R Kaizo hack), but I'm not really asking for that. I just want some difficulty that could be achieved by changing a few multiplier numbers.

Well, Hard doesn't have the 0.4x Exp and money handicap which is what I want

dude just have merciless without the weak crit and tech multiplier and the option to turn the exp/money multipliers on or off if its even possible to change that

and merciless does have a less damage dealt multiplier so it isnt just hard with a different name lmao

What I'd love (if this is even possible) is something where the player can do double damage against the enemies with weakness hits, but the enemies can still do triple damage against the player.

Would it be blatantly unfair? Yes. Would I still love it? Absolutely.
