A tip that I give to beginners in doing environments is depth is very important. This works on colours too but showing in greyscale is more simpler to understand, the close the object is the darker it gets. Use that as a rule for the base when doing environments

After you blocked in all your objects with the base, you can think if them as the shadow layer you can then go over the different layers you created and add in the light onto them

It is a similar process, whereas the first one the base is darker the close it gets, the light it’s lighter the close it gets

Or you can use a sphere for an example for lighting and darkness

Let me help you, You ever wondered why those clay sculptures hold up so well? Well because there's some wiring in them to support the weight

So i want you to get some wire and start creating some sort of mannequin type clay figurines

Make sure the wires are strong enough also

I think it's basic enough to use wire for the support of your sculptures or whatever you're making

you know i thought about that like when i saw someone making concrete they had rubar inside to reinforce it

i did the same thing but instead of metal i use wooden toothpicks to reinforce the sculpture
