Heres something I would called greedy when your customer don't know what worth and it was kind of my sin when I first start doing commission

A guy want to draw 32x32 sprite , the thing is he want us to draw that sprite in a Roblox game

Where u can sell art for robux

Due to that game being poorly made and the tool is completely unsuable, many didnt accept the offer

So he keep increasing the price

And the commission is not even anything but copy a 32x32 sprite into the game with the change of little detail

It was incredibly easy if done on any drawing app

So I accept the offer

At this point he was so desperate that he willing to pay 70 dollars for anyone who accept it

So quickly jump in and told him to close the request so no one else would be able to do it but me

After that I've drawn for him a few design but due to poor communication and the barrier of language, we waste a lot of time without making much progress and I have to redo the sprite multiple time, he offer another raise to 80 for my time wasted, i was so greedy that I didnt even think twice

In the end we finish it and I got my money, the sprite does not worth 80 dollars ofc and it not even took me that long to get use to drawing in that game but I didnt care, once I deliver it I ask why are u keep increasing the money offer even tho it was so simple, he said this is a gift to his daughter who really like to play Roblox, and since he already an adult who have a stable job, 80 dollars is not a big deal to buy his daughter happiness
