Why not make weapons, pets or even skins stay in your steam inventory like the items in tf2/cs go/unterned/dota.
This would also perhaps justify paying 500 dollars for a weapon, perhaps with an trade system, it would increase the value of that item and make the purchase of that package more profitable or attractive.
