i understand that electron cannot make use of the voice recognition because of google (and 3 posts i saw about trying to use the mic) so i was trying to look for alternatives.
these 2 packages appeared while searching:
- voice-recognition: https://www.npmjs.com/package/voice-recognition
- Pocket Sphinx: https://github.com/cmusphinx/node-pocketsphinx
but they all need to be rebuild and i have 0 to -50 c++ experience, i constantly get build errors in cmake and i have no idea what i am doing. i just want to be able to use the mic in my electron app, there has to be a way right?... right?
