For example, take Runes of Blink. If I was making mazes with the classic teleporter tile trap, the best way to do that which I found was putting barrels containing a warp scroll underneath the rune teleporter, which while it works well enough is still very obvious if I use floors that contrast the barrel, and it can get rather expensive if multiple teleporters drop off at the same destination point (think along the lines of taking a wrong turn will send you back to the entrance. Each teleporter would require its own barrel and a scroll)
Binding pedestals with scrolls to runes would be a solution that can have so much potential and be rather intuitive. Conversely, being able to bind multiple runes to the same output inventory would also be helpful in cutting down tile entity spam and aid logistics.
Lastly, it'd also give you much more working recipe slots for wixie automation assuming that the default for what counts as adjacent is either the 6 faces touching the wixie's home or the 26 other blocks in the 3 cubic block area.
