Guys im theory crafting here. About is it possible to fly / leap whilst in a minecart and then control the minecart midflight so its functionally a self controlled flight cart. I will start my theory crafting this Friday

My dream is to find a spell

Pretty sure you can't "hit" a thing you are riding. You can't break a boat you are sitting in, nor can you hit someone else in a boat with you

Which includes with arrows as I understand it

Imma try to be in a boat with an Unkillable entity and to then use my spell to hit that thing

Self leap doesn't work while riding a horse, I know that much

i know this isnt your goal, but imagine a minecart with a ton of spell turrets focused through spell prisms into it, all casting

to launch a minecart really far

But I have not tried self burst or self burst sensitive with leap

To apply to everything around you

oh wait thats just boats, minecarts can move upwards (somewhat, like 0.2 blocks)

Imma start my testing now xDD

Okay so i found out if you use a combination of launch and leap i can technically controle my minecart

And the same kindof works on horses

but the main issue that happens to me is that the horse glitches back and doesn't get the maximum velocity from leap

Keep in mind that 1.22 is the version where minecart speed cap becomes configurable

Otherwise it's capped
