How do I kill bosses who are immune to status effects?

What are I-Frames?

I-Frames or Immunity Frames, are durations where a player is invulnerable to damage. Ways to bypass these immunity frames are referred to as I-Frame Skips.

In the base mod, there are no I-Frame skips available. In 1.21.1, Ars Elemental adds a glyph called Nullify Defense that will reset an entities I-Frames. In older versions there are other I-Frame skips available.

Hex is not required for I-frame ignoring. It is recommended though, as i-frame ignoring requires you to heal the target.

Anyways, in such situations, just use brute force. Wilden Chimera isn't very strong. You just need to whack it a few times with some sub-par spells and you get yourself a tribute.
Just spamming this is enough:

yeah, just bonk it with something high damage enough times and you are good

bring a levitation belt too, it makes the fight so much easier

because the ring of jumping takes up a slot that a ring of greater discount could use
