some mods (like building gadgets) can take blocks from your backpack and place them down, and perhaps some compatibility with the mods own storage (i.e storage lectern, trinket pouch)

it could be useful for spell glyph learning for sure 🤔

I like the idea but unsure how it would work. For the most part, the only time you’re really placing blocks with spells where this would matter is things like the exchange glyph, which pulls from your hotbar. But how would you tell the spell to use the specific blocks in your chests if they are supposed to be in your hotbar?

The only way this could work is if you somehow lined your spell device to an inventory and had a glyph to toggle prioritizing pulling from that chest instead of your hotbar? But even that wouldn’t really work too well since there’s no indication that the chest is empty until the spell resolves and now your build looks weird.

This feels like it really needs the extra features like visual indicators and undo buttons that building gadgets brings, instead of magic 😦

you can just make a check in the backpack to see if it has the same block in ur hotbar, then if they have it use that amount instead

or am i missing something? it shouldn't be too hard, usually i wouldn't be asking this with the refiill upgrade, but a stack at a time is too litttle for bigger spells
