i mean you could, but the whole point of the spell is pretty much to replicate the pre nerf amplify from 1.18 to dmg spells, adding more complicated things could boost the overall dps, but it would be sacrificing the big damage output you can have with it

Turns out, you can use splitburstsensitiveaoe and spawn a metric tonne of decoys. My dumbass used this spell afterwards. With the summoner focus.

  • without any geomancy equipment deals 56dmg
  • with full geomancy armor it does 70dmg
  • with the focus, 2 bangles and the armor it deals 88dmg

I’ve been taking to using double envenom because it bypasses poison immunity

Maybe it happens so fast that the game can't remove the poison effect in time 🤔

interestingly enough you can only procc spores off of envenom once per application of the effect
