Yes but it only spawns wild ones. I have a spawner in a pit I throw gold nuggets at
And it does take a WHILE to get a spawn egg because you need to kill the wild ones

it will just simply delete them no matter what as long as a projectile hits a block type
I'd just suggest using burst before annihilate so that it only targets entities
see i was doing this, but using sensitive on burst so it created all the max projectiles

Yeah, if you're already using burst for propagation then you can't use it again. But if you place it right before annihilate then you can use that to filter our blocks

so you have to pick one of the three armors (flame, frost, earth) and awaken it then turn that into lightning, awaken that and then turn that into void and then awaken and tada

🤔 Thoughts on adding "leap fatigue". Imo leap being spammable gives too much mobility to players which makes it hard to adequately challenge them imo. Ofc I'd add a config option to remove this but I think putting a mixin for the leap glyph to have some sort of cooldown would do a lot of good.
I like the leap glyph as much as the next guy. But giving it a cooldown and giving bosses an aura to disable gliding would allow for more fun fights imo while still having a "dash"

i mean thats cool but that situation is only one application. we would also be affecting one's method of transportation, the mageblock railguns, a couple other varied uses, all of which would unnecessarily suffer from that debuff
A) I kinda think travel from leap is alr overtuned + outside of bosses you can still glide in which case you usually aren't spamming it.
B) I'd only apply it when you target yourself
and C) config option for people who hate it
The current config to limit leap only works for caster == target iirc

Yeah, they're supposed to be variants of skeletons. Dangerous in a group of mobs but you can easily solo them if you isolate them

The "Mage Knight" is supposed to fill that role of an in your face threat. Since the structures you find the bosses in will have a mix of both they'll work off of each other's strengths

Also it usually recommended to not be near your base but otherwise there is no cure

with prot 4
and got oneshot by a spell that was anihalate amp 4 + an extra one at the end
its a one shot spell

Yeah, Annihilate is getting nerfed (Kinda, there are some situations it's better now). Iceburst is also getting nerfed bc that was too easily obtained and could 1-shot everything

I'm gonna be honest I don't really see why you'd balance spells based around PvP. Modded PvP is insanely difficult to balance especially in a mod as intuitive as this. If you can make a busted spell with the tools you're given, you earned it
Instead of weakening spells to balance I'd just make the armor stronger or have some like bonus spell damage resistance on top of enchants
If you wanna get real spicy add another enchanted book like Spell Protection along with the blast and projectile or something

Crash reports can be found in your instance or .minecraft folder under the crash-reports sub-folder. This is only made when a crash is registered, so if it doesn't exist that's fine.

Hello, everyone. Can you advise on how to improve armor? There are 24 pages of options, and none of them work. The only options are to use basic lightning armor with low mana or to improve it in the standard way with blazing rods, etc. However, in this case, there are no slots for threads.

I have already obtained all the necessary resources. When placing items on the enchanting apparatus according to the recipe from JEI, it says that the recipe is incorrect. For example, I cannot make lightning armor from tier 3 armor from the main mod. I also cannot improve the armor according to the recipe from JEI to increase the amount of mana.
I already gave myself lightning armor from creative, but I couldn't upgrade it.
Don't grab armor from creative. Also you have to upgrade to fire/ice/earth before lightning

pretty sure I have a diagnosis but not a solution
The list of mages is pulled from a database on github. If you can't access it I made sure to make seven "defaults" for offline use. For some reason the server is likely able to access this list but you can't so when the server accesses a mage beyond the seven defaults that causes you to crash
Under the config options there should be an option called "doComMages". Try turning that to false

Okay, I understand what was wrong with the crafting. But what about improving the armor? For example, the lightning chestplate.
I would also try putting the source closer
Fire -> Fire awakened (4 elemental souls + 4 netherite) -> Lightning (4 lightning souls + 4 mana diamonds)
What about these crafts for increasing mana?
I wouldnt look at any of the "Magic Armor Upgrade" recipes in JEI. I just forgot to remove them, all of the correct recipes are under the enchanting apparatus

Yes he does. Similar to bosses, they purposefully despawn when theres no players around
That's so A) they don't cause a bunch of unneeded damage to terrain
B) so people's gear isn't spawn camped and they can't just keep dying until they win

Yeah, I've seen this one before. Not sure if you'd know how I can fix this but it's because I made the randomized mage spells pull from an online github file. So if the server loads correctly but the client doesn't then when it pulls a randomized index higher than what the client sees as possible the client crashes. Can cause wierd things like only one player crashing and others having no issues

- make mana diamonds
- craft mana diamonds and mage cloth together for summon mage tablet
- activate the ritual 3 times. 1 each with earth, fire, water essence. Beat those bosses for souls (bosses destroy terrain, fight far away from your stuff)
- combine earth, frost (water), flame (fire) souls using enchanting apparatus to get triune elemental soul
- ritual summon mage with triune soul + air essence. Beat the boss
- ritual summon mage with triune soul + conjuration essence. Beat the boss
- enchanting apparatus the two new lightning and ancient souls with earth, frost, flame, for awakened elemental soul

After taking a look at the code of elemental the difference would be that this doesn't bypass the fire resistance potion effect but what it does do is make fire immune entities be able to be set on fire. In practice I don't think it's that different? Idk I really haven't used the fire focus much

As it turns out, making a domain with chain, then a bunch of lightning delay repeats was not a good idea. Taking advantage of the antidote item from relics mod reducing debuff durations by 80% to spam domains was also not a good idea. I gave my server a seizure
Though I think the main issue is that the domain treats blocks as targets, so it was hitting every block with lightning, which then chained to every other block, for every single block

projectiles check directly how many are present so I'd have to make a mixin for every projectile and even that wouldnt cover addons

you should try this for fun, but in a dimension with nothing u want destroyed and make sure u can fly
projectile/missile > domain > open-domain > meteor > accelerate3 > pierce > pierce > explosion
u could add burst + sensitive but I don't recommend it

Actually is there a setting for that in the Ars Plus configs? Because I don’t exactly want to turn all mob griefing off, since that’ll make creepers pointless. I just don’t want 50x50x50 craters
