I noticed when i put it to quickly into the chamber i consume the essence
it makes you level up (when disabled in the config the essence wont be consumed)

I wonder if in the future if there will be a way to add more ranks tho I think that would be harder as the higher rank you are the easier things get I think having 9 ranks is enough just the cost to change. What could help is maybe being able to amplify inspect soul to be able to get more details like essence needed to break through. Also a way to use inspect soul on other players

Well now that essences are become a food item, you do have a reason
they're not really a "food", but moreso a way to quickly regenerate mana and a little bit of food/sat
even i have never crafted a rune of eternity w/o ProjE
(but do note that it is much cheaper to use the imbuement chamber)

If you have a mod with item transport, pipes etc., with a filter, you can whitelist the essence to automate it.
From my knowledge, you can't get new cores from killing mobs but you can level up your arcane levels this way.
what does "collecting souls" do? Is that just for levelling and if so, there's no point after reaching max level?
I think so. But rn, you can lose progress to a bug so you probably won't stay maxed forget
in my case it seems the bug is caused by me dying
also a thing i noticed about the bug is that it only affects cores, and once u reach max and lose the cores, not even core of ??? will be able to increase ur core level
thankfully my friend had a copy of my playerdata before my death so i managed to revert the bug

IMPORTANT: At 6:00, do not go through the nether portal in the spawning area. It should remain unlinked with the overworld so that the zombie piglins can't teleport anywhere yet. At 9:29, build the portal at Y=191 or higher. Also, use a lava bucket to destroy swords in the killing chamber to prevent lag.

now place a vitalic SL on that bad boy and you can pretty much get to max level / cores rly easily (also can help to work toward eternity rune(s) )
I actually used the guardian farm. It's the least finicky and I LOVE prismarine/sea lanterns

Nah for me it's backwards, I'm in a mod pack with apotheosis spawners and a goblin that drops copper so I just put his spawner into overdrive and automated the essence making with create's mechanical arms and smart chutes

im playing on trinkets version 1.20.1-3.0.1.jar released 4/17/2024 and I don't think the lotus and monocle are doing anything to my mana regen and max mana when i unequip them I don't seem to regen mana any slower or lose mana any faster same with equiping them doesn't seem to be any change, but on my stats my max mana and regen does go up im abit confused if something is broken?

yes, replace them with the newest version if possible.

meaning that it ignores the mana cap of the Max Mana attribute

I've made custom recipes to remove the grindy gears and rebalanced all the rest to use items from base and elemental. Now if anyone can be bothered to make an icon for the datapack. Monocle, Manastone, Mana Core, Essence Lotus and essence in general has been removed from the mod.

Which spell book do you have? I think it means you are using a higher tier glyph than your spell book. You will be able to use all glyphs with the archmage spell book

Air sword will already do that to most. It ignores a lot of defenses
sonic boom deals the sonic boom damage type (which is magic)
it bypasses armor and some other stuff
in most case, it deals enough damage to get rid of pretty much anything that breaths in your generic direction
also i won't ever make a "one shot" glyph
they might do a lot of damage but there should exist at least some measure of counterplay

Hello guys, is Mystical Agriculture needed for progression? I don't think I'll be able to get all of this copper, Iron etc with just Ars and its add ons

- Learn all the glyphs you can. By default each glyph gives you 15 mana.
- Enchant everything with Mana Boost and Mana Regen. Each level of Mana Boost will give you 25 mana. Each level of Mana Regen will give you 2 mana per second.
- Use an Amulet of Mana Boost or Amulet of Mana Regen. These provide 50 mana, and 3 mana regen respectively.
- Craft two Rings of Greater Discount, each of these reduce your spell cost by 20 mana.
- Upgrade your Spell Book to the highest tier you can. Each book tier grants you 50 mana and 1 mana regen.
- Put a Magic Capacity thread in the highest level slot that you can. This increases your max mana by 10% per level.

quick question, for ars trinkets, if i wanted to change the default range for aura from 5 down to something like 1, i dont assume there are ways to do it ingame. through the config files, would i be changing the range at the top that looks to be the integer limit?
or is there actually a way to do it in game? im trying to get back into ars since its been a hot minute

I tried deleting the glyph_sound_boom.toml file to fix the issue, but it didn't help, I still get the message on my screen: "You can not use this glyph yet..."

sooo im sure questions like this come around often, but what would be the best way to go about getting/automating the purple mana limitless lotus and rings? I dont have any technical mods in this pack as far as im aware of (cisco dragonfyre), but i definitely dont wanna spend like 10 hours just crafting them all myself.

For imbuement, I just used starbuncles and hoppers to move stuff around. If I remember correctly, the imbuement starts automatically if there's enough source and the right ingredients are put on pedestals. If you have the paired ender chests mod, that works even better than starbuncles.

Sorry if its been discussed, but is there a way to turn down the mana gain per level? I added for a glyphs and thought levelling was neat, as well as the extra couple Thousand mana (was already at 6k) after afking in my apoth gem farm I'm well over 1 million mana

Also your best bet with project E is to have an energy farm to produce copper and nether stars cause those are both pretty important components in the crafting tree for the runes
Also wanna have a source farm to make the charm crafting not take a century
If you have apotheosis, percentage health would do it, otherwise nullify or any way to bypass i frames and any ridiculous damage thing cast in your preferred flavor of lag cannon

Alright this one is a an odd question, I'm trying to retexture some of the cores so it's easier to understand what I'm looking at when I'm trying to craft those high end gears, how would I add textures to the mod?
Cause I found where it calls for the texture, I've slapped in my own reskin and told it to call for said texture, but when I try and repackage it, it either doesn't read my file, and if I delete the old package the entire thing crashes
And I can't just make a resource pack because the cores all call for the same texture
Resource pack is not just textures
It's models too, you should be able to override
The model json of the item tells the game which texture to use
