I genuinely have no clue how this would be done, other than something like immersive portals (but hopefully not requiring a NASA space computer to run) but I think magic that allows for someone to walk through a door and arrive in a different place, or even simply portals that you can mirrorweave

There's also somewhat of a plan to give ars portals a fake immersive portals effect using a snapshot of the other side rather than actually showing the other side

It could be culled panoramic cube rendered only when in frame not hugely hard to implement. The immersive portals is awesome, but also way overkill.
