base is a snowy taiga biome, so water freezes - trying to build a mob farm, is there any way to change biome (legit) without having to do an island ritual?

you can move your base elsewhere to escape the biome, that or you can have some sort of heat source nearby the water to keep it from freezing

You can't change it as far as I know without the ritual, but I will make it so the starter ritual convers the biome to plains so you cant get a horrid start like that lol

some kind of biome change ritual that changes the biome in a radius, without generating an island, would be cool, but idk how you could do that when theres byg adding a whole bunch more biomes, and you would have to make a crafting recipe for each, so idk, maybe extract the essence of that biome from the air and use that to change the biome elsewhere?
so u can go explore for the biome and then change it at home
