Hoarding is always going to be the answer, but some people tear down a bootcamp and rebuild it back up. Depending on your build gear then you are usually just using speed ups and not rss for the most part.

I have actually run the math on all troops for both Ace days. You are FAR and away better off training on the second troop day.

I will try to dig up my spreadsheet and will gladly share it.
I welcome any criticism and/or corrections anyone can offer...

P.S. I ran the math based on data from several accounts, with the help of several people... So it was a fairly comprehensive data set, not specific to me.

okay: i have T8 troops, i set it so my research time was as close to 17 hours as possible( 1504 troops), with gives me 1020 minutes of speedups + some secs waiting, 1020 x 150 points per minute = 153.000

so, for day 4, 17 hours = 153.000 points

for day 7, 1 T8= 70 points, with gives me 1504 x 70=105.280 points per 17 hours speedups

that with 30% training boost activated

Ace commander seems a bit one sided with a significant number of people making 50%+ of their points on the last day. Really devalues the other days and demotivates players who made an effort just to get squashed by someone blurring through with fast comeback.

Not really one sided. It's players thinking smartly and planning moves some even hoard up for ace. I love fast comeback for day 7. Also some info if you didn't know before ace change it used to be day 6 and day 7 so all those points are now squashed into 1 day

Don’t make an effort the first few days. There’s no point. It’s been that way since the very start. My own guide I made says most people skip those days. It’s just playing smart.

The only reason to build research train on days that aren't day 7 is to get the rank rewards for those days, as long as it doesn't take away from you getting to the next phase of overall rank rewards. But you generally won't know how much it'll take so it's just better to do it all on the last day.

Which is my point. Why bother having a week long event to be ruled by a single day. Why not have a single day might up event, and make a more balanced multi day event?

Because the first few days may not matter to some but may be how others get extra points in. I get 5 to 6m points the first day. Don't do day 2 cause I got nothing. I stam stack and do as much as possible for day 3. And do all phase rewards for day 4. Etc. Some still participate in the first days and you can get 1.2m points from spending day 1 now

It's not ruled by a single day. The last 3 days play the biggest role. But as others have said, some do focus on the first 4 days and get a lot of points that way. Not everyone spends tons on speedups, not everyone has fast comeback.

Ace is pretty easy tbh. Maybe this will help a little...
Day 1- Gather... mill sit a few days leading up this we reset our mill to make it last. Make sure gather boosts are on and your alliance pops the rss boost you'll also have state yes they stack.
Day 2-Research and build might. So speed up them builds and researches if needed. Probably just complete all phases.
Day 3- Stamina and AP.
[Tip on Day 2... do not claim the first 3 daily boxes till 10 minutes before Day 3 and join as many Stamina stacks as possible!!!(start a 50 at 1 hour long with 1 troop and pop balance talent]
Day 4- Training Speedup (need 134 1 hour speedups to finish all phases 😉 )
Day 5- Get enhance material and promoters(might up no longer counts)
Day 6- Tavern Tokens and Modification material and bioenhancer research.
Day 7- Get might from training troops, researching and building. This is where a majority of points come from. Get some fast comeback

Little rough draft since this is new ace... 2 days are known but not down to the details... here is a collection I made and will update the first 2 days if they change in a couple weeks

Updated Ace Commander Guide...

Day 1- Heros Rising... Hoard hero cards(gold 5 star, purple 4 stars and blue 3 stars) and tokens. Assuming it's like off week... If you win eve frags in ruins save it to buy today. Along with Vavara also in ruins, levina in water shop and McCarty in pit.
Day 2-Research and build might. So speed up them builds and researches if needed. Probably just complete all phases. Mil 2 is your best friend for research part if you are in that area.
Day 3- Stamina and AP and Gather
*[Tip on Day 2... do not claim the first 3 daily boxes till 10 minutes before Day 3 and join as many Stamina stacks as possible!!!(start a 50 at 1 hour long with 1 troop and pop balance talent]
*Gather... mill sit a few days leading up this we usually reset our mill to make it last(idk how this will work yet with mill situation). Make sure gather boosts are on and your alliance pops the rss boost you'll also have state yes they stack.
Day 4- Training Speedup (need 417(1m) or 500(1.2m) 1 hour speedups to finish all phases 😉 )
Day 5- Research Bioenhancer and Gear refiners...
*Hoard Bioschemes. Prison trial runs every 3 days. And alliance shop randomly offers them.
*Save diamonds to buy Refiner
Day 6- Modification-save up ruin coins and buy the chip mods... save and hoard water and buy mod materials in water shop... hoard rare earth and buy the mod materials. Promoters-Save p1,p2s and p3s boxes for today. Enhance-Save lair boxes and enhance boxes.
Day 7- Get might from training troops, researching and building. This is where a majority of points come from. Get some fast comeback

The differences in points on Day 7 of Ace is not new with this update. It’s been in effect for awhile. If you don’t have different levels HQs or haven’t been paying attention to this like a lot of people are now, you might not have realized. Other events have seen increases in the points needed, apparently - and that could be a HQ level thing too. I’ve not looked into it because I don’t have screenshots. I just know there’s a difference because I have a 24 and a 29.

@rare mantle at this point I don't really care had already stopped spending, but was still logging in to talk to alliance members but I can't be bothered with that now, it's just one thing after another, they remove fun alliance events and replace them with cash grabs while making it harder to achieve anything both showdown and Ace just make me angry when they should have left well alone , this will result in players leaving and a revenue drop which they will try to make up by gouging the remaining players even more, I really doubt if posted in CS my comments would hav the slightest effect they have set their minds on a course and while they might look like they listen they are not and won't do a thing , when what they should be doing is reverting the game back to what it was before the big update and possibly add the tavern into the middle of the standard events. I'm done with the game it's not worth the aggro to just use it to chat to friends.

Hell, we already know what comes next. Reduce event frequency to make space for new events. Bottlenecks on existing rewards creep up. Players spend or exhaust stock to maintain their rate of progression. New events are introduced, but are chases for something new. So old resources are strained and new ones are a brand new race for spending.

How you handle that is up to you. Personally I don’t find being mad about it enjoyable, so I’ll just play around it. If I slow down, I slow down. 🤷🏻‍♂️ To each their own.

Day 1- Heros Rising... Hoard hero cards(gold 5 star, purple 4 stars and blue 3 stars) and tokens. Assuming it's like off week... If you win eve frags in ruins save it to buy today. Along with Vavara also in ruins, levina in water shop and McCarty in pit.

Nano day for offweek heros! Hoard all nano stuff
Day 2-Research and build might. So speed up them builds and researches if needed. Probably just complete all phases. Mil 2 is your best friend for research part if you are in that area.
Day 3- Stamina and AP and Gather
*[Tip on Day 2... do not claim the first 3 daily boxes till 10 minutes before Day 3 and join as many Stamina stacks as possible!!!(start a 50 at 1 hour long with 1 troop and pop balance talent]
*Gather... mill sit a few days leading up this we usually reset our mill to make it last(idk how this will work yet with mill situation). Make sure gather boosts are on and your alliance pops the rss boost you'll also have state yes they stack.
Day 4- Training Speedup.. Back down to 127 1 hour speedups randomly?!?!
Day 5- Research Bioenhancer and Gear refiners...
*Hoard Bioschemes. Prison trial runs every 3 days. And alliance shop randomly offers them.
*Save diamonds to buy Refiner
Day 6- Modification-save up ruin coins and buy the chip mods... save and hoard water and buy mod materials in water shop... hoard rare earth and buy the mod materials. Promoters-Save p1,p2s and p3s boxes for today. Enhance-Save lair boxes and enhance boxes.
Day 7- Get might from training troops, researching and building. This is where a majority of points come from. Get some fast comeback

When I started the game, getting hero cards would give points, when I left the game points were only given for Noah’s tavern recruiting. Gathering used to be on day one. Specific speedups for training building and research gave points on a certain day while might increased from those tasks was on a different day… im trying to plan opening my boxes, etc because this is my first ace in about 9 months

That is normal. Total rank is based on 1m point minimum, phase is based on 300k minimum.

No, but they'll add higher grade ace commander hero cards at set times. I has Obsidian and Nam, II has the previous and Atropos, III has both previous and Wali.

Rip. Moved into a bigger ace bracket. 105m was good enough for .5% in the last bracket, but 105m is almost pushed out of .5% and it's still more than 12h from closing.
As long as I can hit 1% twice I'll be good, need 117 frags for Wali +6.

Zephyr is always a reward choice.

It starts out as Zephyr only, then after a bit it switches to ace hero I choice cards (zephyr and phoenix), then a bit more is ace hero II, then ace hero III. It's a bit more detailed than that but I dont feel like typing everything out.

With improve might week:
For the first month or so, Zephyr frags are the only reward. After that, Phoenix is released in the state and she becomes available as rank rewards, in the form of an Ace Hero I choice card (able to choose zephyr or phoenix frags from it). Rank rewards are the ones you receive after reset for your rank (1%, 5%, 20% etc). Zephyr will be the final phase reward of the event (you get 2 frags for completing all phases of the event). Someone will have to fact check me on that because it's been a while since I've started in a new state.
Then about a month or two after that, Lady M is released in the state. Then the rewards "shift" 1 tier up. Ace hero I cards (the ones with phoenix and zephyr) are the phase rewards, then Ace hero II cards (with phoenix, zephyr and Lady M) are the rank rewards.
Another two months or so after that, Lora & Jessie is released in the state, and there's a final "shift" up 1 tier in rewards. Ace Hero II (phoenix, zephyr and lady M) are the phase rewards, and Ace Hero III (phoenix, zephyr, lady M and Lora & Jessie) are the rank rewards.
That's the final iteration of improve might week rewards.
Does that make sense?

Oh. Hm... I can't remember for sure but having a phoenix-only rewards week for her release sounds like something that happened to me. Or it could be a newer state thing. But it should go back to normal after that.

Final phase rewards are always 2x frags or cards of whatever tier of rewards the state is on.

Next week will be Ace, and aside from the nanoweapon event which has improve might rewards, all the rewards are going to be Ace commander hero choice cards. It starts as Obsidian only, then after a while Nam is added, then after a while Atropos is added, then after a while Wali is added.

Then the week after will be Improve might again with zephyr and that set of heroes.

It will take a while to get any of them to +5 or higher for most folks. I went pretty hard and also used some perfect frags (not really a good idea) and got Zephyr +5 before Lady M was released. That's not the norm for most folks though.

now that you mentioned Obsidian, he was the last Ace week's reward.
this is why I am a little bit sad. at first I did not even know what I am doing, and kinda missed out on a lot of Zephyr frags. but because I had him and he looked strong, I chose to be a fighter main.
and now for weeks I did not really get any stronger and was just waiting for him to come back and help me out.

I was told by a fellow fighter main to just recycle the phoenix and obsidian frags and use the points to buy ulrik frags. so they are still useful in a way.

Definitely never recycle any hero until they're +5 (2-, 3- and 4-star heroes) and never recycle any 5-star hero.

There's not much video content out there, and yes, reddit is not useful for gameplay. This is the best place to get your info, plenty of experienced players in here to help you out. The pins in basically every channel are a great place to start, but other than that, ask questions. Everyone was new once. And yes, there's tons of stuff not explained in game.

Both Phoenix and Obsidian are useful for a fighter, but mainly in match-3 content. I'm a fighter and I had my Phoenix +5d pretty early because she's an absolute beast in every match-3 content: arena, prison, campaign, ultimate challenge, alliance conquest.

Obsidian is a little less useful than Phoenix, but still very useable for ultimate challenge and some arena stuff. I wouldn't worry too much about getting him enhanced early.

But another reason you don't ever want to recycle 5-star heroes is that almost every single hero has an exclusive nanoweapon, and that provides boosts based on the enhance level (+0, 2, 4 and if you're lucky, 6). So you'll eventually want everyone.

You'll be short orange books later on when you're going for 311+. In the beginning it's the level 3 and 4 books.

But yes, orange/red books will become a big bottleneck. Took me about 4-5 months to get through the blue and purple book bottleneck.

Depending on how quickly you can enhance your heroes to +5, you might have a gold book bottleneck at some point too. I need about 2500 more to red star two heroes that are +5.

Troop booster heroes are the most important, followed by your main troop type/rally heroes.

You can always reset heroes for combat manuals and antiserum as well, so they're not lost.

You'll want to focus your hero choice cards (the gold ones) on Ulrik, to get him to +5 first. McCarty is also a very useful hero and the earlier you enhance him the better. He reduces lair stamina cost so the earlier the better since you'll save more stamina over a longer period of time.

He was my first +8 hero. I had Ulrik at +7 when I did it, but if I were to do it over again, I'd stop at +6 on Ulrik to +8 McCarty.

So like, Ulrik +5, then McCarty +5, then Ulrik +6, then McCarty +8 would be my progression.
As far a Meyers, he can be useful and will replace either your last 3-star hero or the first 4-star hero on your lair team when he hits +5 or +6.
