Pretty sure even for Android people prefer the SD865 and pretty sure ROCKNIX will get the sleep when lid closes figured out, though yeah, sleep isn't always as efficient on mainline Linux as on Android, depending on the chipset - Android is always the primary focus of the chipset vendors, but think in the SD865 case, mainline Linux support is actually pretty close

For some reason it's an even 100 years for music recordings

It was also for a period something you had to file for and maintain which is why there's some stuff from later than the 1920s that is public domain, but that changed before the copyright of computer software could even be debated on.

Sloped lets it sit better with weight.
Thick makes it so your grip isn't as tight/cramped.

Can't believe people argue over screen protectors. I have 3 flip 1s. All second hand. All not screen protected. 2 have small micro scratches on the screens. Hard to see without being angled but they're there.

Unless you live in a clean room your hands will pick up dust and particles during the day. Your cleaning cloth will pickup dust and particles over time. Shit, the inside of a clamshell will pickup dust and particles just sitting in your pocket closed. Eventually wiping the screen to clean it will leave a mark. Hopefully tiny.

This bothers people. Others don't care. But people pretending there's zero point are just silly.

That said I know on the flip 1, tempered glass would cause the screen to touch the controls and possibly damage it with pressure. Probably worth testing out the clearance on the flip 2 before buying or applying one.

Also 3DS were notorious for having the screen get marked from where the bottom screens border touched it. It'd normally get dirty at first. But once the device wore in and flexed a little more and frictioned left and right to tiny degrees, you'd get something permanent

Bought new earbuds to with it too. I usually don’t buy hype products, but I decided to give the “Nothing Ear” earbuds a try. They’re actually pretty solid and the EQ access they have is much better than a lot of brands

Now I just need to get either a 1TB SD or a 2TB

I’m not sure just yet

This is my first emulation handheld and I only want a clamshell, so I’m more apt to go all in on preorders than the others

I don’t really have another option for GC/Wii emulation in a clamshell form factor

Especially since the Ayaneo Flip DS was put on hold. Also that thing is just too big and the battery life was also atrocious. Still a super cool dual screen clamshell tho

Not realistically pocketable and battery life is awful. Also it’s an annoying knowing that the higher end chip could have better performance, but its bandwidth starved bc AMD made cheap decisions. Price is also annoying bc I can see it was sold for much less, but I just didn’t know about it
