My unit arrived early so I got to play with it a little last night. It was on the latest 201006.099 Teams & Others firmware so I didn't have to flash it. Used adb to load the Simple Ink Launcher and F-Droid. Then Aurora Store and Remapper. Also side-loaded Retroarch.

I mapped the volume down button to Back. Mapped long press volume down to Home but couldn't get it to work.

Synced an Amazon FireTv bluetooth controller. Worked fine except for it wouldn't add coins and start game in Retroarch.

I'll try some different controller mapping today. The functions are bound to the controller Back and Menu buttons. Don't know if that's the issue with it.

I'll also try my SN30 pro and see how it does.

Here is the prerequisite GUIDE for INSTALLING FASTBOOT DRIVERS:

Press the Win + R on your keyboard.
In the Run dialog box, type “cmd” into the field and then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
This will open Command Prompt with administrative privileges. From here, you can enter any commands that you need to run.
To disable driver signing run this line of code:

Then after that follow instructions in pins for STEP1 flashing to the appropriate image make sure it's Teams 201006.099

and step 2 changing the home launcher When it boots up select Teams (Others seems to try and network boot/download files and fails)
Go through the setup wizard until you get to the Microsoft Teams (Language > Wifi > Bluetooth > Teams)
Select the Gear Icon in the top right of the teams page
Select the "About" settings option
Tap on "CD-18781Y.201006.099" under firmware version a bunch of times rapidly until a prompt comes up saying developer unlocked.
If your usb c cable is plugged, in unplug and replug it in.
You will now have ADB access.
Download your desired Launcher there are two recommended in pins unlauncher for taté mode and simple eink for both landscape n Tate insert this code in adb to push launcher to device

You will then need to send this adb command to select a new default launcher:

Then pick the new launcher
After this go to apps then the settings and disable any system apps related to kiosk2 make sure when you restart it not stock🏠

Only thing not included in above is flashing STEP 1 which that is pinned after following driver install continue to the pinned message step 1 to flash the image then can return her as I've outlined step 2 here as well as pinned suggested launchers

This is now nearly idiot proof please follow directions and you should be good to go 🙏🏽

.Then install adb fastboot drivers with the thinksmart connected

.Then get the flash tool and flash correct image so you can turn on dev options in settings and turn on USB debugging for adb to work

.Then you push the home launcher of your choice to the tablet and disable other launcher etc in system apps so it doesn't take you back to previous launcher when restart
