#Is it even worth it to release amber isle on the switch, when the switch 2 comes out soon?

There are still many who will not want to upgrade to the new console who have been waiting months to play. I think that they would not want to disappoint a substantial part of their userbase.
I mean you know what the hardware is, it is not easy to get a fairly sizable dynamic area running even if stuff is only rendered on the screen the folk are still moving even if only when looking at the map.
The game is already Switch quality, they'd have to do insane crunching to get it up to Switch 2 standards, that's just not reasonable for a game that is for all intents and purposes finished
And Nintendo is notorious for being difficult to get your game on their platform, almost every single game I play that has a Switch version, the Switch version is always the last to update
That is through no fault of the game developers. Take it up with Nintendo
I rather have a game that will be a higher quality(most likely original pc quality) then a husk of the orginal
I've already waited this long, what's a few more months 😦
I'm waiting month to play to amber isle, and I don't want to change my console, if the developer's team want to put it on the switch 2, I prefer it to be an add, than a replace. I would be so devastated, having to wait month to not even being able to play
Some of us don't have the money to upgrade their switch. You have valid point, but my switch can make run Palia with high quality and she's not bugging. I'm on Mac for my computer so I can't play it on the computer. I'm not sure that the game is heavy. They start to realese on Instagram that they are preparing the pre-order page for switch like yesterday. So we are close to finally playing it. I understand that you are frustrate. I am to, I was not aware of the difficulties that could be encounter with Nintendo. Having the explanation by Skott seems logical
