#Gathering/Harvesting respawn times?

I think the game is a bit to easy well maybe not everyone thinks the same but i was thinking that items like trees and rocks or anything has a like a 3 day respawn timer so you get a chance to clean up have some space to place buildings and decorate the island. Then after 3 days are up the items spawn either around your decorations and buildings or not at all.

Hmm for later game sure but at the start before mountain area there is a limited amount of basic resources, if there were days between respawn it might not be as enjoyable.

Yea I personally find the one day respawn to be more than reasonable, especially with how many recipes there are to distribute your resources across! Maybe i get too excited crafting and love being a vacuum for resource collection systems such as these, but I do find myself strategizing how to use my resources a bit, even with Mt. Morrisong unlocked. Perhaps this could be better as a toggleable difficulty setting? 🤔
From what I've experienced playing, it may make more sense to up resource requirements on some things rather than extending the respawn time. Namely for resource repairs/house upgrades. For example, Barnaby giving you TWO shovel upgrades for essentially x30 resources and the initial move-in fee definitely feels bizarrely paced. Though I personally wouldn't have him give you a second shovel upgrade for upgrading his house at all, but that's neither here-nor-there. I generally feel like the house upgrade costs could benefit from being upped a bit
