Hey!! I think it'd be great to be able to see items' details when, in exemple, Paleofolks ask for "Wood items", "Paper items", "Artisan type items", and so on. It can get pretty upsetting at times having to memorize which is which (ADHD short terms memory is a curse
) !
Love everyone, I'm addicted to the game so far and I'm so hyped to see what's coming next!
#Item Details (Requests)

*This aspect of the game is similar to the real job of shop assistant. You have to know what are you selling your customer. Just because the flute is green, it doesnt mean its made from bamboo. Whenever it was aware dev decision is another discussion.
That said, some items are indeed misleading. While Im ok with the materials you need to know what are made items of, the size is actually something that should be more obvious. Unfortunatly, some items are big when they are medium, or medium when they look small.
I have to set of microphones and they look about the same size, but one is large and another medium.
And im not carpenter, but if bed is medium then its kinda funny (and very misleading too)*
And I too, have not best memory. Some times paleofolk will ask for a wood Item and the best course of action would be to sell the most valuable wood Item, but I remember only basket
I tots agree on this!!! But the issue is that the game is very versatile and eclectic with it's items, and quite random about the items' details to be quite fair
There is a lot of misleading stuff both on items' designs and comp:
i.e how the raptor desk and couch are SMALL sized and a literal page holder is considered medium
Like,, it COULD be manageable if everything wasn't so random at times hfdjgjkdfgjkldf
Also seeing items with flowers and plants but them NOT being crafted with said materials
So it can end up really misleading for when you're getting asked.. let's say plant items, and you give away an item with a leaf and then it's not made with any plant at all
I be staring at my screen like
I agree for the possible "immersive" side, but as I said the game is very versatile (it's cool imo) and the shop doesn't have a specialty (It could be cool to be able to have one selling specialty, too!) so having to memorise EVERYTHING is kinda over the top for a smol pea brain like mine
IRL shops are usually themed (ex. for carpentry or artsy stuff/books), which isn't the case here

Actually because some items have misleading types its easier to remember them (like the raptor desk you mentioned)
On note of the themes, the game does not force you to be versatile. I actually like having mostly music items in my display.
For you maybe, but that may not be the case for everyone and I'm putting this as a suggestion because it'd make the u.i easier and comfier for the average player ~w~
And reading from the questions on one channell, it seems that there was a motive to do so, aka have players specialse in one theme or have a general store

Although, its veeeeeery old
Would be best to know if this is game mechanic aka to remember item types or something not implemented yet, via offical dev response.
My assumptiom comes from many hints this game provides by itself, but its just an assumption.
Whenever its somewhere stated for sure i dont know for now, and cant really do a research now 😦
I genuinely think that there's a lack of item descriptions
