Hi! I only just started playing after launch, and spotted a few things already that felt awkward:

  • Colorization during character creation felt a bit awkward in general, but especially how the value slider covered the options, and finalizing it sometimes didn't work by pressing enter. Finding natural bone colors or gray/white was also difficult.
  • One thing I immediately noticed was the way doors swung. When entering the bedroom, the door swung outwards and clipped through the character. However once inside the door was also inside the current room (on the other side of the doorframe no less) and clipped through the character again. All of these issues could be avoided by having the doors swing away from the player, into the void outside the room.
  • The voice modulation feels a little too fast, and the highs and lows feel just a touch too extreme. Flattening out the waveforms a bit and slowing it by about 5-15% could make it a more palatable listening experience.

I will update this post with other things if I notice them, I am looking forward to playing more!

Another thing spotted: You can run around during the cutscene when you first leave the shop. Not sure if that is intended behavior.
Edit: The "Today's profits" sound is VERY loud. 🫨
Edit Edit: ALL of the Amber/Money sounds are way too loud/high pitch, as is the shop rank increase sound.

Do want to add that I am enjoying the game quite a bit so far, but I want to point these things out when I see them ^^

A preview feature for shop decoration would be very nice, perhaps by right-clicking, or by single-click previewing and holding down to purchase the decoration.

Hovering over the Friendship rewards should probably show a tooltip for what they actually do after they're unlocked.

Collision is weird when hugging the bottom of this staircase coming through the village, I get caught on this invisible ledge frequently

Having played a bit more now, a quantity slider or at least a button to do 10 at a time in the crafting interface would be much appreciated. I am at risk of Carpal Tunnel as it is without Mario Party-style mashing my keyboard to craft planks Hazel_Plead

I feel like having a limit on how many quests you can unlock for a particular NPC would be better for pacing. Maybe a few days need to pass before the next quest unlocks?
I could completely finish Marnie's house and quests the same day I met her, which feels weird particularly when in her dialogue she talks about not having seen the player in "ages", even though I literally didn't move at all after constructing her house.
