Where do GPS coordinates come from?
Flipper Map uses your phone's GPS – no external GPS board needed. Your .sub files just need Lat: and Lon: values to appear on the map. Here's how you can set them:
- Using Flipper Map (Easiest) – Select a file, tap "Set Location", drag the pin where you want it and hit Save.
- GPIO GPS board (Automatic) – External GPS module connected to Flipper can save coordinates automatically at recording time. Note: official firmware doesn't support this yet, DYOR.
- Set Manually (Tiring) – Add
Lat:&Lon:lines directly in the .sub file on your SD card.
