Portal animations?
can some one help me make custom portal/portal 2 animations for the flipper zero?
idk if there are any portal fans there to help the project :/
First step would be getting frames that are at most 128x64 px in size
yeah, i need to know max frames and the framerate also
i don't want to use the wrong speed or number of frames
i would really like to hear how this goes! i was literally thinking about a portal animation when lo and behold i scrolled upon this
i'll let you guys know
I’m game to run a few of these if I find the time, will link results if I get there
I can see if I can bash out something when I get home
@quasi lotus
discord is being bad with the embed, i can drop the individual frames
That’s actually kind of neat. Good job!
Frame rate: 3 works beautifully
Might add a few more edited frames to make it smoother though
i think u can add frames for scroll anim back
I threw my own spin on it: https://github.com/Fiattarone/FlipperAnimations/tree/main/portal_animation
Hey @eager escarp , is that your GitHub also? Just wanna give credit where due
that's the right account yeah, awesome to see this done
Perfect, I’ll credit you also in the readme when I do it. Looks like my tag in the commit took also though haha
Link added to my repo 🤘
Pleasure to meet the official Kuronons, also honored for the link 🤘
I made one more, pixel art of GLaDOS roasting Chell
Interesting project that needed to use imagemagick to sharpen--is there a tool that exists that helps with flipper animations already?
Yeah, it's not so easy to sharpen existing pict to fit the Flip format... For such a project, I think I would have redrawn text from scratch or maybe used the bubbles function on this one. There is a bunch of tools for helping you creating meta/manifests but for the graphic aspect... not really. Am using photoshop mainly but any program that can handle layers and pixel drawing and availabilty to save under .png would fit the needs. There is plenty of free available apps for this.
I was playing around with piping frames through imagemagick, it was giving me flashbacks to the days of building a Tesseract OCR server for automating invoice processing lmao
I’m probably gonna run over this one more time and manually drop the text in, maybe clean GLaDOS up some too
Me using GPT for the purpose of developing flipper animations like:
