#Attempting to make a cube spin

(for archival purposes, this shit aint a cube)
we are civilized people who use git
@candid monolith any reason you're not just using a single rotation matrix via loop?
Just give us all the source code smh
not just the .c
i think its private
i have a reason. reason being i dont know what im doing
We civilized people don't make things private
my bad, its public now haha
bet
I am stupid though so prolly not much
reference broken video
I love how two corners aren't even moving
i have no clue whats up with that
Where is the starting position to these points?
congrats on your first build and messing with the development system 😁
@candid monolith what FW did you build this on?
wait
bruhhhhh
CubeSpin_icons.h is missing
@candid monolith you need to get your shit together lmfao
RavHelloWorldಠ_ಠ
dat icon bro
i know it's not a game-of-life thing
I changed the icon right away B)
oh don't be shy
i think my first app still has my testing icon
nothing says "testing"
did you get it to spin correctly?
No because its missing files
or remove the fap_icon_assets
oh
i'm on an older version then
how is this already out of date lol
how tf did you get it to compile
That file never existed
But I think I did something to fix it
What fbt command did you use?
./fbt.cmd launch_app APPSRC=CubeSpin && tio -t /dev/ttyS15
just delete the include
he just left us
with this incomplete app
💔
Still getting this
create the /assets dir
it already exists
make a pull request creating an empty dir in his repo 🤣
in the app i mean
not from the root of where you launch fbt
or just remove it from the .fam
this line?
yes
you just gotta see in 4D
it's a tesseract
the points are correct
i think
i think just the order in which the lines are drawn is wrong
it always complain about this even if it is present
We fixed it
oh oops
you should just draw a single circle
and call it a spinning sphere
then you'd seriously simplify your debugging time
pff
i have bouncing sphere
I am about to sleep, but the main issue right now is getting the proper starting points for the cube
The rotation code should work (I rewrote it to use a rotation matrix properly.)
it's definitely cooler.
oh wait, after 0:10 it's actually a cube
congrats, dude
that is awesome work
When trying to make a spinning cube in a game that has an automation system with 2d graphics, I had similarly broken results
lol this was an awesome read
I never got it spinning properly lmao
