Cool stuff, is it on GitHub?
Great project ! Being able to select mutiples folders as favourite would be great (I believe there is between 200 and 300 custom anims by now at least... ) as I would not personaly have all existing ones on my SD... but rather on PC. Possibility to create anim lists...
Very interested to see this developped ! 🤘
I plan on publishing it on Github but I first need to make some code cleaning
Thank you! I'm not directly retrieving files from the flipper, it get them from a folder on your PC. The idea to be able to have different lists that point out to different folders is great! I will keep you informed when I start working on it, I'm going to be a little busy for the end of the year haha
I hear ya, we all have many things to do apart ! 😉 Take your time and keep us updated on how it goes ! Merry X-mas !
yup Merry xmas have a great time!
ok, Thanks for letting me know :)
I'm soooooo on board with this project!
Some news from the project, here is a new demo of the latest build:
You can find the github here: https://github.com/Ooggle/FlipperAnimationManager
Pre-release builds are available! If you like it please star the project it will really help me out thank you :)
And don't hesitate to report if there is bugs/features you would like to see implemented
Linked on my GH. 🤘
So I built this from src on macOS but I'm not sure where the ./dolphin folder should be @meager urchin
Hey, did you use the Makefile?
ok my bad
by default it will try to load the ./dolphin folder alongside with the binary, but you can change it to point wherever you want
You need to point to the folder that contains the manifest.txt and the animations folders @peak perch
Glad it build on MacOS I wasn't able to test myself \o/
Yeah worked perfectly per your instructions after installing xcode
On an m1 mac
nice!
Ah ok so the ./dolphin folder should be next to the bin in the build folder
I wasn't sure at all about my instructions, never used a Mac...
I'll try when I'm back at my desk
yup if you don't want to change the path
All good, at first I was wondering if there would be a pre-release for Mac but building from source was easy enough
Can send you the bin if you want to add to the repo
Oh if you can it would be wonderful
I just released v1.0 though
I don't know if you built v0.9 or v1.0
When you say just, what do you mean lol
I only built it about 30min ago?
Yeah created it about an hour ago actually
How would I tell the version difference?
Nvm I see the update on GitHub building again now
Okay thank you!
And done, what do you need me to send? Just the bin yeah?
Or rather the executable created by the make
Yup
@meager urchin here you go!
Thank you, I'll add it this evening, mind if I mention you in the release?
Not not at all, my GitHub is https://github.com/grinchdubs if you need it
Did you figure it out?
No i tried
You need to point the dolphin folder to your dolphin folder where there is all the animations
Then you click load and the magic happen
I'll try
Just added it to the release, thank you!
yup no worries
i have a mac how do i use the mac file
Just double click on it @lilac warren
it didnt do anything
the mac file is different
Haha I know, I made it
But all I do is double click it and it opens
Do you have xcode installed?
no do i have to do that
Yeah you still need to install the dependencies correct @meager urchin ?
Just the binary is sufficient
@lilac warren do you have an M1 Mac or an AMD one ?
Both releases are available on GitHub
M1
Oh thanks which one is for m1
Add a Rick roll file and don’t tell anyone name it read me or read me 2
It's the MacOS-arm_64bit one
I will maybe hahahaha
when i will get flipper zero this is the first thing im downloading
Quick update: I'm in vacation so I will not be able to work on it for a few days
Thanks
Hey what app do I need to open on MAC
?
I tried to open “FlipperAM-MacOS-x86_64-1.0”
And “FlipperAM-MacOS-arm_64bit-1.0”
But I get a message saying there’s no application set to open the document
So I went through all the apps on my computer but none of them seem correct
I’m not sure if these work like gifs but is it possible to attach sound files with a background? Like digital rain sounds like soft keyboard strokes or when mew pops up it’s a wavy distorted sound like when it appears in the games? These are just suggestions I’m not the developer/ designer I’m not sure what’s possible
you need to make it executable and run it. see https://support.apple.com/guide/terminal/make-a-file-executable-apdd100908f-06b3-4e63-8a87-32e71241bab4/mac
hey, sadly it's not possible/supported by the flipper zero and I don't think they will add something like this in the future :\
it's more like gifs as you said
Dang; I’ve also been trying to talk and implement a few designs features I feel would be very beneficial if they made a v2
Like I’m not sure if this is a common issue with anyone else but not every usb-c works for file transfers with your flipper, and what happens if you lose yours? Well what if it was a cheap built in usb with the flat cord styles for a built in housing? There’s a few other ideas but im not sure if we’ll see a v2 it’s just a personal pipe dream; I’d hope to see this be another brand we see stick around similar to hak5
didnth work
What Mac are you using? The M1 one?
Another Mac user had no trouble running it, I'm not a Mac user myself so I don't really know how to help here..
Well any usb-c with data link should be able to work with the flipper
m1
when i run the executable it says Referenced from: '/Users/liammedlyn/Downloads/flipperam'
Reason: tried: '/opt/homebrew/opt/sdl2/lib/libSDL2-2.0.0.dylib' (no such file), '/usr/local/lib/libSDL2-2.0.0.dylib' (no such file), '/usr/lib/libSDL2-2.0.0.dylib' (no such file)

Oh ok I didn't knew the SDL2 dep was mandatory
You need to run the following command:
brew install sdl2
Then it should be good @lilac warren
yeah I figured it would be
Ok thanks
there are various github repos with animations
can you please link some or how can i find them?
thank you
your laughing man one is prob my fav
Thanks ! 😊 Well I should remake it someday as I forgot a lil detail XD and I believe I could make better circle now... but well time ya know... XD
o rly?
how do i change the passport?
You must edit and compile firmware for that. My passport backgrounds are not for official firmware as it, passport.c file must be edited for that... and I never took the time to write an how to guide XD
I am having trouble downloading onto my mac. Would I be able to Cashapp anyone for help with installing?
what cpu you have?
That’s dope af
Thanks man!
