So had a dilemma and I’m crying freaking out thinking I’ve bent the mobo too much trying to remove the 24 pin cable and killed it but I also am building the system outside the case first so I can test it that it posts just fine before putting it all together in the case. So is it worth continuing trying to remove 24 pin or get it pushed in and seated fully or is it Motherboard RIP for me 😢😭

FYI I’ve been on PC 7/8 years but never built a system myself so again FYI it’s my first time building one myself trying to be intependant

@worthy wharf Continue as is. The bend is minor enough to where the chances of breaking the layers within are extremely low.

I've seen CPU boards bent very clearly, yet function nominally.

So you think I should just instead of trying to remove my 24 pin try to get it fully pushed it and seated to eliminate any gaps

Okay so you are saying the chances I’ve bent and killed my mobo is slim to none

Sorry I’m just so nervous because I’ve watched many videos on building pc but when parts are in front of me it’s actually really scary icl
