I had a 1v1 with my friend who's a lot better at the game than I am, and I barely squeaked out a win, but I still feel like I did way too much wrong, can someone tell me what I messed up? Aside from the SD, that was horrible and I know it. #SmashBros

I think you need to stop throwing out moves randomly and work on your combos and approach strategy. Like throwing out forward smash and side b way too much.
In the video, when you do that he puts up his shield almost every time, and then he hits you with another attack.
I think you should use grounded A attacks more on the shield, and definitely more grabs especially.
You do know the inputs for the GO moves, but you rely on it too much. You also struggle (I think) with the normal inputs like power knuckle, crack shoot, and power dunk. The best thing that you should do for that is to go to the training move and do inputs for those moves.
For approaching, you could run and then shield when you think he is going to attack, dash attack, and then crack shoot (normal or input version), and then rising forward air because you can do jab jab power dunk if you do a fast fall after the forward air.
For combos, I would start with jab jab power dunk, down A and then side B, and forward A into crack shoot or side b. 👍
