no, it just said the set location was wrong but it was the location that's been set since the fbw was installed, it only appeared after the installer asked about doing it's own update.
Hm could be a one off bug
It seemed ok right afterwards, was ok on one pc but not on the main one. it's ok anyway, I wondered if it was related to having spaces in a path, but both my computers have spaces in the path to the community folder.
Did it look like this? I just got this error message while updating...

And for me also, second attempt and all went good.
No, I've never had that error, that's related to needing a vpn for where you are. It simply stated that the assigned location for the community folder was incorrect when it wasn't. Reselecting the community changed nothing on the display but continued and update the installer ok.
Ahhhh okay. Well living in Finland and have never needed VPN for FBW updates... but as told, second attempt and no issues.
