At some point in my flight plan times are showing current time:

Route is
EDDB/07R LOGDO1Z LOGDO Z117 ORTAG DCT BAMKI DCT IBAGA DCT DKB N869 NATOR DCT LUTIX N869 BENOT DCT NEMOS DCT NINTU UN869 MEBAK UP860 TIS DCT VALKU DCT LARON DCT GUSON R66 BALAN BALAN5H LFBI/21

After a direct given by ATC, things went better:

Similarly all waypoints show the same ETA:

#

Fixed itself after I passed the step descent. This flight had quite a few steps and I guess they were the cause of the issue.

Same happened to me with STEP/DES. Not happening in STEP/CLB

Reproduced during a flight yesterday.

Hi @sinful wasp, @faint cairn. This should be fixed now, the plane should correctly IGNORE steps too close to T/D where they would cause issues before

In the experimental from today?

The newest one, yep

Great. I'll give it a try tonight or tomorrow

I flought this morning from Milan to Heathrow. Due to the route used I had two steps, one S/C from FL380 to FL390 and then a S/D back to FL380. The moment I inserted the S/D the EFOB went to ----. I updated before the flight but I hadn't read there was a fix for it so I didn't check at what moment EFOB when back to "normal".

I've just prepared a new flight, step climb + step descend. No issues at all on the FPLN ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ .

I had this little tiny issue about this same subject. Init climb fl370. Step climb to fl390 programmed later in the flight.
In the Prog page I saw I could safely climb to fl390 before reaching the planned step climb (I was still on my first climb crossing around fl250)
I set 390 as new cruise altitude at prog page and set AP the same altitude. Then on the Fpln page EFOB turned to - - - - and didn't show a calculated value until I deleted the planned step climb.

  • where did you put the S/C?

It was yesterday, the flight from casablanca to Tunis. While on the ground I programmed that step climb according to simbrief plan. It was at VOR FES

split cedar

Do you have the exact routing SimBrief gave you?

Yep, let me check

You're welcome

# faint cairn You're welcome

I gave this a go and couldn't reproduce it sadly. What I suspect happened is that the step ended up before your T/C and that caused an issue (which it shouldn't of course)

Hello, I just had the same thing at Gorka with the latest EXP version but with a step descent. As soon as I added it into the flight plan the EFOB shows at -----. If I delete it the EFOB comes back. In this case my cruise is FL390 and I added a step descent to FL380. The route is GVAC/01 PISPU1A PISPU DCT IPERA UN873 ODEGI/N0437F380 UN873 SAMAR DCT BEXAL DCT LIGRA LIGRA9A LPPT02
(step added at ODEGI)

#

perhaps its because, its assuming 380FT instead of FL380?

split cedar
#

Actually, I think this is just coincidence that it shows 380

I've had another case where EFOB has gone ----- the moment I've program my step climb and step descend
Here's the Route and steps
OKKK/33L RALKA4F RALKA G667 ALSAN DCT ABD DCT KMS W158 PAREX M317
ROVON DCT TBZ G482 MAGRI N77 ADANO N82 TISOT TISOT1A UGTB/31L

FL STEPS OKKK/0380/ROVON/0390/MAGRI/0380

Also FPL goes a little wierd, There where ADANO is shown, altitude goes a bit crazy. ADANO is where T/D should be aproximately.

#

STEP AHEAD is shown as I'm about to get to the S/C in ROVON
After this S/C EFOB has come alive again

#

Oh, my S/D has disappeared. As I program it again EFOB goes back to -----
