can you try using a vpn? i personally haven’t heard of any issues out of switzerland but it’s worth it to give it a shot

Can you make a screenshot of the whole installer please? Forget about the Dev console. That might just be the check if simbridge is running

Can you try executing the uninstaller as shown in that link without opening the installer?

And afterwards installing the new installer.

That's alright. Can you go to that path and check what files are left? At least that file seems to be deleted.

Generally not, but there are sometimes some problems like strange permission settings for the community folder that can get worked around by executing the installer as admin.
