Shield Texture issue with 1.21.11 and Texture Pack | Stardust Labs | Page 1

Hello,

I use all three stardust packs (Terralith, Incendium, and Nullscape).
This issue is specific to Incendium and the custom shields offered.

We have a multiplayer server on version 1.21.11 running Paper.

Our issue is that when viewing any shields in an inventory GUI or equipping them in either the hotbar or offhand, there is no texture whatsoever. Just the classic purple and black 3D blob.

We have the texture pack paired up with ItemsAdder, so that could cause a conflict.

I will follow up with images shortly. Any feedback or tricks from the past would be appreciated!

Yeah, I do know ItemsAdder can occasionally cause issue. Unfortunately I am not very familiar with it, and I don't remember what the solution is, but I'll do a little digging

Surprisingly couldn't find anything that precisely matched your issue, so I don't know if it has come up before

Do other textures from Incendium work, or is it just the shields broken?

no clue what's going on then. for the shields to work properly, you need a CIT mod on your client, but it shouldnt show as a WIP texture (purple box) without it

What version of the resource pack are you using, and do you have any other resource packs added that touch shields

The most recent versions of the resource pack don’t need any extra mods for the shields to show properly
