Incendium empty chests

I'm working on a modpack and decided to add incendium, and will probably add nullscape as well. While testing incendium I explored a few of the structures and A LOT of the chests i came across were empty. Are empty chests and barrels intentional or is it some kind of mod incompatibility? I'm assuming it's intentional, and if it is, is there a way to disable it? I'm using a lockpicking mod and its a huge bummer wasting lockpicks on chests that have completely nothing in them. Please lmk, thanks.

can you share some examples of the empty chests? and maybe try a world with and without the lockpicking mod to see if its interfering?
