@winter laurel
so about the crash reports, he can't find the folder
he's looking in the instance folder, which is where it should be, right?
yup
Go in the logs folder and find latest.log
he did that
just a sec
So when you shared your modpack with your cousin, did it copy over the same config files? I’m seeing errors of missing config files
no, I actually didn't
all I did was send him the mods
should I zip the instance and send it to him?
Try that please
alr
Is it still crashing?
haven't sent it yet
about to, after it uploads to google drive so I can send it
k, he's downloading it
@vivid pelican minecraft isn't recognizing it as an instance
would you mind trying to load it up?
@craggy glen sorry for the super late reply, its not recognizing it as an instance for me either, make sure you have exported the instance correctly
@vivid pelican the modpack was recognized but still crashed
Hmm
he's gonna try adding them manually one by one and see what might me causing the crash
@vivid pelican he literally can't load 1.19.2 without any mods installed
You might have said it somewhere, but does a clean installation (no modloader, just vanilla) works?
I'll check
also, he mains fabric 1.20.2
so that doesn't seem to be a problem
a clean instance loads fine
it might be a computer problem
aparrently there's a forge bug that doesn't let anything post-1.19 load on some computers
See if updating the forge loader to its latest version for that Minecraft version does anything
Not sure I've ever done that lol. How should he do it?
Not on my computer atm, but try looking around the menus of your client launcher
@craggy glen were you able to find how to change the forge loader version on atlauncher? If not, here (you should be on your instance section):
So sorry, I completely forgot about this lol
I'll ask him
