You actually just download the zip file from #1087096245228679330, don’t unzip it, open your server world folder and locate datapacks; Paste and you are ready to play!
so there's no 'datapacks' folder in my nether world, just my over world...
Is there a way I can tell it's working?
you don't put it in your nether world, just your normal world folder
paper sorts worlds stupidly
How can I tell if this is working? I've created a new nether world and I'm not really seeing any changes
oh wait, do I have to name the nether world [myworld]_nether?
no, tried that, still not seeing anything different
what is the output of /datapack list ?
Hey @ionic saddle, did we resolve your question? If so, close the support with /close. Thank you!
datapack list does not show incendium- I've moved it around to a few different location, restarted the server... no go
nope.
make sure incendium is in the world/datapacks folder
that is the only place datapacks work in
if after that, incendium still isnt in /datapack list, where did you download it from?
by "world" do you mean "whatevermyworldnameis" or does it need to literally be in "world"
whatevermyworldnameis
you downloaded the jar, which is the mod version
grab the zip (datapack) from github
link in #1087096245228679330
yes
keep it in the zip, or unzip it into a folder in datapacks?
keep it zipped
cool
basically act like its that jar file, except its a zip
works!
spawn is an upside down forest
thanks!
are there new mobs or just changes to mob behavior?
I do scripting in denizen and I'm wondering what new things, if any I might be able to use via scripting
new mobs
its been a long time since i heard someone talking about denizen, but i highly doubt you can script with incendium stuff
incendium is a datapack - it doesnt actually add news items/mobs. it uses vanilla mobs and gives them vanilla commands to make them seem custom
but i am 100% unfamiliar with denizen beyond what someone mentioned probably over a year ago, so i could be wrong
yes, it does
thanks!!
