This sounds dumb, but can you send a video? This is an extremely odd issue

how do i alter the lore of the items found in incendium?
i have searched in a ton of directories to find them but i can't find them anywhere.
For example, here's the line that the Hefty Pickaxe lore is on
if you're using the resourcepack, you'll have to not only change it in the datapack, but also in the resourcepack translations (yes even for english)
ah what a nightmare.
i guess ill just use the barebones build with no mobs/items/structures as i dont know a thing abt coding

unzip it, make your changes, then zip it back up
out of curiosity, why do you want to change item lore?
reason im asking, is its a question i get often enough to be somewhat popular. so if there's something i can do to make it easier for others if its a good enough reason, i might look into it
i would like the items to have their ability desciption and what they do on them in my own format. also i know that a few say like patreon item and stuff and i think to normal players thats a little confusing and having to explain that someone paid to have their item in the modpack is a bit odd
definitely agree with that, i was already planning on removing the "patreon" text in the rework, but if i remember i might just take it out in the next update or so
I also didn't personally like the "incendium" text in the lores. i think thats probably just me.
but my server is due release by christmas, i dont think the modpack will be out by then with the changes suggested
i would also like a bit of insight towards performance. im expecting 50-70 players when i open, how does incendium hold up?
i have 14.5gb on my server ram
what would be the easiest way to remove items only from the datapack? i love the strutures and the mob difficulty.

there is no easy way, and i'm not interested in doing that
honestly, if you're worried about performance, i wouldn't recommend using incendium
it's quite a laggy pack - hence why i'm trying to rewrite the whole thing
alright, what if i use the barebones version? no mobs/structures/loot.
just the generation, (which i pre-gen) anyway. should be a lot better right?
or do you not recommend it at all lol
the lag comes from the functions/etc that the barebones removes - so the only lag will come from generating chunks
It's a bit late, and sounds really silly, but is there a chance they had curse of binding?
oh, so if i keep structures,mobs, and the generation itself - but pre-gen the world it wont cause lag? sorry unsure what you're trying to say here in terms of if its okay to be pre-genned or its going to lag regardless.
could do, but at this point i would rather make one decision to remove all the extra's and go barebones or decide how much lag incendium will actually create. i dont lag at all on my server, tps always 20 - but i am the only person on there because its in development. so i would like to know before hand if when release day comes, and 50-70 people flood in if its just going to crush the server performance.
i pre-genned it all weeks ago up to 15k in all directions.
the addon you're referring to removes everything except biomes - there is no in between
yeah, if you have 50-70 people, do not use incendium straight up
