I think 3 weeks to 1 month is long enough, as long as we get access to the end before we switch the server to 1.20 so we can use elytra's to explore the new chunks

The speed runners who just try to do everything as fast as possible and then just leave don’t meaningfully contribute to the server community over time anyway. So, I think having the 1 month delay benefits those interested in a longer-term commitment to community itself, which I see as a positive, desirable quality.

Plus, putting space between the grand opening event and the End dragon fight event gives people the feeling that they have time to get ready and not lose out to speed runners. It creates a temporal space that is more relaxed in the sense that other matters can be focused on and appreciated (e.g., base building, initial farm building, etc.).

As I see it, having multiple events spread out over time is preferable to just having everything happen all at once. It creates an atmosphere where people can feel like they have more time to savor the experiences and appreciate the little things along the way.
