I forgot to specify, the argument is 'bound must be positive'

frigid zephyr
#

wait, what Incendium version?

#

5.3.2a isn't a thing

plain silo
#

excuse me

#

I meant 5.1.3

frigid zephyr
#

...5.1.3?

harsh mango
#

5.1.3a

plain silo
frigid zephyr
#

ok

#

i will take a look in 1-3 hours, not at my machine - just wanted to clear that up first

plain silo
#

alright

harsh mango
#

try without optifine

plain silo
#

I will

#

I'm only using it for Fresh Animations

harsh mango
#

of breaks a lot of things

plain silo
#

doesn't work without OptiFine, unfortunately

#

still crashes without OF

#

I am updating Terralith to 2.3.6 to see if it stops crashing, seeing as Terralith was made compatible with Continents in 2.3.5

#

didn't help

frigid zephyr
plain silo
#

I will get latest.log, give me a moment

frigid zephyr
#

@hearty marsh stop slacking

frigid zephyr
# plain silo

is this a new world? if so, try this for me.

  1. close minecraft
  2. open the saves/[save_name] folder (where all your files for this world are)
  3. inside the world folder, delete the region folder, as well as level.dat and level.dat_old
  4. save/exit, start minecraft, then join the world again
#

actually, im not sure if it will create that folder if it crashes that early

#

if it does, do it... if not, just close your game and restart it, and try again

plain silo
#

those folders are present

#

I will do so

#

I did so and the world disappeared

frigid zephyr
#

hm, try making a new world now

plain silo
#

doing it

#

crashed again

hearty marshBOT
plain silo
#

first is latest.log, second is the crash report

frigid zephyr
#

@hearty marsh istg

#

ok, for some reason, it's a different error this time - which is actually good

plain silo
#

how so

frigid zephyr
#

the previous error meant something was locking your level.dat, which is why i had you close your game

#

now it is not locked

plain silo
#

I see

#

I am going to try opening the world again

#

it's back to bound must be positive

frigid zephyr
# plain silo

that isnt an error - it's just a warning that you accept when using worldgen datapacks (aka Terralith/Incendium)

plain silo
#

I'm aware

#

I meant the message on the top-right corner

#

meant to draw attention to it*

frigid zephyr
#

wait wtf

#

what is that kekw

plain silo
#

failed to access world

frigid zephyr
#

"alright bro"

#

thats what i find weird/funny

plain silo
#

oh lol

#

I never give proper names to my worlds

frigid zephyr
#

oh

#

thats the world name; that makes sense

plain silo
#

my saves folder is read-only

#

would that affect?

frigid zephyr
#

wait what

#

yeah, that seems like it could be an issue

plain silo
#

none of the other profiles have read-only

frigid zephyr
#

yeah, try making it not read only

plain silo
#

I have tried, but it reverts

#

I'll check if my other forge 1.19.2 profile has the same problem

#

on a different folder

frigid zephyr
#

before you mentioned your folder was read-only, here is what i was about to type. take it with a grain of salt, because you definitely need to figure out how to make that folder not read-only before anything else.

anyways, here's my thoughts: im not sure what is causing it. the error seems to be coming from Forge itself. is Forge updated? and if so, maybe try the previous stable version?

your log has a lot of errors reading tags, but curiously, that isn't the same error that causes the crash. that worries me a bit, but we could hope that the crash error is causing the tag errors. so, see if you can solve the crash error by messing with forge versions.

if messing with forge versioning doesnt help, you might have to find out what mod is at fault, manually. start with only half of your mods. if it crashes, remove half of the starting half. if it doesnt, add half of the remaining mods. repeat until you narrow it down

plain silo
#

would it be wise to remove all mods except the Stardust Labs mods and then put back each structure/worldgen mod individually?

plain silo
#

I'll see if doing the mod filtering helps

frigid zephyr
plain silo
#

Stardust mods do fine

frigid zephyr
#

ok, good

plain silo
#

I'll add COntinents back

#

should be fine, since it's compatible with Terralith

#

worked, adding the structure mods now

#

the culprit is not a worldgen mod, I believe

#

I will add the mob mods

frigid zephyr
#

was afk - any luck?

plain silo
#

I made the poor decision of adding all my mods back in one go, but both the worldgen mods and the mob mods work fine

plain silo
#

I think I can continue by myself from now on

#

your assistance is much appreciated
