I host a 5GB pretty fast server for like 6-7 people, it has enormous tick lag and i was wondering if its because of this mod?

Please provide more information (like the actual mod your using-)

Oh whahah im so sorry, i've been using the Terralith mod for fabric

#

No one is currently exploring alot of chunks either

burnt mango

As terralith only touches worldgen, and you said not many chunks are being generated, I'd wager a guess that it's probably not terralith

#

I'd be more confident if you could provide logs/timing reports

frigid forge

Let me try and get one of those

👍

Just a regular server log?

burnt mango
#

It might have some info in it

#

Timing reports would be better

Where could i find timing reports?

they dont exist

#

at least, not for fabric

frigid forge
#

Ah i see

#

Its quite odd my server has 8 TPS with like 6 people online in pregenerated chunks

#

wait, are you currently pregenning?

#

because that's what it looks like in your logs

frigid forge
#

No not right now

#

I stopped it a while ago

burnt mango
#

It's stopped near the end of the log

L477

chrome orchid
#

ah

#

regardless, as long as you are not exploring any non-pregenned chunks, Terralith is not the culprit

#

also, out of curiosity, what pregen mod are you using? I have not seen that before

frigid forge
#

Fabric Chunk generator

#

i found it on some site with a list of nice mods for fabric

burnt mango
#

Can you do /spark ingame? I think i saw mention of it in the mods list

frigid forge
#

dont have it

#

Also, would it be possible to switch the server to paper and use the datapack instead?

burnt mango
#

Might be /sparkc actually cos fabric version

chrome orchid
#

assuming you have a reason

frigid forge
#

Paper always resulted in better TPS for me

#

sparkc doesnt work either
