When I used terralith on a server about a year ago I had to make a world with terralith in singleplayer and load all of the spawn chunks and move that world to the server in order to get the spawn chunks to work properly. is this fixed in the most recent version? also is there a way to view terralith world in singleplayer because when i download it i get a .jar and im not sure how to incorporate that into a singleplayer world.

For single player, you need to be using either Fabric or Forge to use the jar file. I recommend Fabric, as it also has performance-increasing mods like Lithium and Starlight (among others). Then it goes in your Minecraft mod folder.

Or you can use the datapack to make it per-world, and that can be found at here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/terralith-overworld-evolved-100-biomes-caves-and-more/.

Then just copy and paste the ZIP file into the datapack folder when you create a single player world - but it needs to be done for every new one you make.

As for the server, it's not needed, but it was the easiest way for people to understand, and avoided issues with some other server hosts.

You can put the mod on, and boot up the server. Shut it down after. Then, felete the region folder inside your world folder. Then restart the server. That should start the server with Terralith.
