[09:06:41] [main/ERROR]: Minecraft has crashed!
net.fabricmc.loader.impl.FormattedException: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
at net.fabricmc.loader.impl.game.minecraft.MinecraftGameProvider.launch(MinecraftGameProvider.java:463) ~[fabric-loader-0.14.11.jar:?]
at net.fabricmc.loader.impl.launch.knot.Knot.launch(Knot.java:74) [fabric-loader-0.14.11.jar:?]

I just want confirmation regarding the jar:? line, I'm guessing it means my server/singleplayerworld can't find the .jar file that houses Minecraft itself, right?

red raft
#

can you send the entire log

#

you cut off the part(s) that have the actual info

buoyant swift
#

oh lmfao, ty

#

Sure, just saying I'm sure I broke everything

#

trying to create a modpack

red raft
#

(and no, jar:? doesnt mean anything about not finding the jar)

Please do make fun of me

red raft
#

what version of Terralith are you using?

buoyant swift
#

latest one AFAIA

red raft
#

can you grab exact version number?

buoyant swift
#

sure

#

2.2.3

red raft
#

ah, that version is for 1.18.2 only

#

the latest Terralith version is 2.3.5

buoyant swift
#

Oh

#

it was at the top of curseforge, my bad

#

let me try again

red raft
#

yeah nw - i think star did a 1.18.2 hotifx, which makes it appear on top

buoyant swift
#

got a new log lmfao, so it wasnt only that

remote ivyBOT
buoyant swift
#

btw thank you 900 times, for helping out a newbie

red raft
#

nw

#

it has the same error

#

double check that you replaced the terralith version correctly?

buoyant swift
#

that's my mod folder

#

I think that's the latest one

red raft
#

lemme check something

buoyant swift
#

Ty

red raft
#

oh wait

#

you just accidentally sent the same log twice

#

has the same time stamps

buoyant swift
#

OH

#

my bad

#

let me reboot

#

It's crashing but it isn't generating a new log

#

idk why

red raft
#

try sending the crash-log instead

#

it's in a different folder than the normal logs

buoyant swift
#

where can I find that

red raft
#

believe it's just .minecraft/crash-logs or something like that

buoyant swift
#

give me a sec

#

LMFAO I DONT HAVE THE FOLDER

red raft
#

what launcher to you use?

buoyant swift
#

Vanilla Premium one

red raft
#

oh sorry, folder's called crash-reports, not logs

buoyant swift
#

Yeah, I googled it

#

created it to see if it would start making them

#

and it didn't

#

mc machine broke

red raft
#

what happens when your game crashes?

red raft
buoyant swift
#

I punched my pc

#

and it booted

red raft
#

o

buoyant swift
#

HAHAHAHA

#

let me see if it crashes again

#

(jk)

#

it crashed

#

it said why this time

#

ill remove the mod

red raft
#

oh, what happens when you click "view crash report"

#

curious

buoyant swift
remote ivyBOT
buoyant swift
#

creating the folder fixed it

#

it started making them

#

:D

red raft
#

cool

buoyant swift
#

Now it's just telling me

#

that I have conflicts or something

remote ivyBOT
buoyant swift
#

Now i'm lost since, but I think i'll get there (eventually)

red raft
#

checking something

buoyant swift
#

HOUSTON WE HAVE LIFT OFF

red raft
#

ah, Ring of the Miner 1.5.5 (the one you downloaded) is for the 1.19.3 snapshots

#

the hardest part about curseforge is that the top file isn't always for the latest stable release

buoyant swift
#

DUDE

#

you are

#

a god

#

A GOD I SAY

red raft
#

i imagine something similar happened with Mob Catcher? although their version numbering on CF is slightly confusing

buoyant swift
#

I just erased it

red raft
#

cause their versions are all over the place, and the version your logs say you have downloaded (1.3.6) isnt even on there

buoyant swift
#

didn't want it bad enough to fix it

red raft
#

understandable lol

buoyant swift
#

HAHA

#

Ahh, I feel relieved

#

you my friend

#

deserve a donut

red raft
#

i had one this morning, so we'll call it good

#

other than that, is it booting up okay? (or if you havent tried quite yet, go ahead and answer when you've done so)

buoyant swift
#

I'm getting the correct versions of the rings

#

but my game is fine

#

I'll try creating the world in single

#

since I need to do it anyways to use the same file in my server

#

dammit

#

creating the nether broke the game

remote ivyBOT

remote ivyBOT
red raft
#

i will brb to check it out in roughly 45-60 mins

buoyant swift
#

oh, ty dude

#

I'll see if I can fix it before then

red raft
#

looking at it, your game is crashing when trying to generate a Nether Fossil

#

i dont think incendium would be the issue, but worth a try while i glance at something else

buoyant swift
#

Ill try, tysm you beautiful human

red raft
#

oh wait, im blind

#

Better Nether and Incendium are incompatible, i believe

#

wait nvm, they work fine

buoyant swift
#

Still crashed

#

I think it may be the doom mod

#

have no way to prove it though

red raft
#

hm, it did update in the past day, so you could try it for fun and see if it works

buoyant swift
#

Still CTing

#

I tried removing both

#

Ill try changing a few more things

red raft
#

any other mods that touch the nether, other than better nether and incendium?

buoyant swift
#

Only thing I can think of

#

Is datapacks

#

they don't "touch" the nether per say, but they do affect drops

#

and that may conflict with the mods, Ill try removing those

red raft
#

they wouldnt be an issue unless they change worldgen

buoyant swift
#

they dont

red raft
#

or nether structures

#

then they should be fine

buoyant swift
#

they change loot gen

#

inside of structures

red raft
#

thats fine

buoyant swift
#

Then I have no clue

red raft
#

you said you tried removing better nether, right?

buoyant swift
#

that's the one I kept

#

let me try removing it

#

NO matter what I remove

#

i keep crashing

#

I have one mod

#

It adds mimics, which do spawn in the nether

#

maybe that's it

red raft
#

odd

#

as a last resort, you can pull out the old manual trick:

#

-start with only fabric, make sure it doesnt crash
-add half your mods
-if it crashes, remove half of the ones you added
-if if works, add half of the ones you havent added
-repeat until you narrow it down to one mod
