Weather boosted was removed because too many people were using the channel to either get people for their raids which would have otherwise been undesirable, or they are posting in there to avoid the waits of other chats. Neither of which were weather boosted. Additionally, we have no way of verifying if the host was in the wrong. They could host, then in that 5-10 minute period of setting up, the weather could change. Weather boosted still exists as the @ though. Let me know if you still have any questions.

how do youy join the person server when they host it on on the raids section

You will need to react to the 👍 when a raid is posted. If there are more reactions within the first 10 seconds than the maximum requested by the host, the raidbot will select at random the pple to join the raid. If, after 10 seconds the maximum is not reached, it will take the players in the order reacted.
If you are selected you will receive a notification and be placed in a private channel with the host and other raiders. The channel can be found above the raids section in the channel list. The host's friends code will be provided by the bot in a copy/paste format. Add the host and once host receives all adds, you should be invited to the raid.
You can type -leave after 8 minutes to leave the private channel and proceed to joining another raid.

There are "raids", which is where a pokemon is present at a gym and acts as a boss.
There are 3 levels, tier 1 3 and 5.

yes, if you want to be logical, a 5000 CP raid boss (tier 3) will seem difficult to beat.

They seem very high, but tier 1 and 3 will be doable VERY soon for you.

If i have to give you more info on raids, is that raids display certain pokemon in a cyclke, which would make them more common IMO.
For example, I can easily get legendaries but I struggle to get a snorlax because you dont really see one in the wild.
I have a SINGLe snorlax, while I have many legendaries. The current exception is that snorlax is in rotations for raids so he technicalyl isnt rare.

There are many good tips you can learn and @verbal heron is on point. But u know the best tip that I wish someone told me when I was lower lvl? The one tip that'll really make a difference in the long run? Don't use any of your stardust yet. Just use "ready to use" pokemon who have high cp. But don't power them up any. Until you're higher lvl (usually lvl 30-35 is recommended) and know about ivs and good counters and what's worth investing in

Biggest tip, the reigns over all the tips, is to take the game at your own pace. If you grind too hard you might burn out and not enjoy the game.

Do you want to host a raid but don't know how? The easiest way of hosting is to host in the "raids" category. This includes:
#772168445659840512 #740032536163647520 and so on
You only need one simple command, and that command is: -host.
To use the host command, you can type, "-host @pokemonname 2 6"
The 2 and the 6 are the minimum and maximum amount of players you want to join. This can be altered according to your liking. Do note that the minimum is 2 but the maximum can be up to 11. (Please do not host for 11 people unless you have two accounts that can invite all of them or you're going to host two batches.)

So heres the info about shadow pokemon.
Shadow pokemon cannot be traded (with other players) and they cannot be mega evolved.
Thus, a lot of pokemon that can be mega evolved can be left purified (or just non-shadow) and it would befine.
However, you will come across MANY missions where purifying a pokemon is necessary for a quest.
Thus, try to keep pokemon that reuqire 1000 stardust to purify just to accomplish those quests only. SOme good examples are peopel keep a bunch of shadow magikarps and zubats to purify when a quest comes a long where they need to purify a pokemon
This is done because no one wants to spend 3000 or 5000 stardust purifying a pokemon just to accomplish a quest.
ALSO, shadow pokemon are highly desired many of the times because they do 20% more damage but receive 20% more damage, this overall makes them better most of the time.
Which is why people look for high iv shadow pokemon.
For example, the best attacker in the entire game is shadow mewtwo.

To answer your question that i zoned out of, transfer shadow pokemon that you wont use, such as bad iv ones and pokemon with 3000 or 5000 stardust that isnt good.

I just lost a raid because the host plus 2 other players were between level 25-30. They also closed the lobby so I wasted a raid pass. With raid bosses this challenging and groups of 6 there should be something set up to prevent this.

That's one of the reasons why it is important to use counters. We post things in the #737744163801399318 channel for people to see. A team of 6 with good counters can take down Lugia even if some are slightly lower leveled.

I just want to add that lvl doesn't indicate strength. I've been in a lobby with only 1 lvl 40 and 2 lvl 25-30s, rest were in that 30-39 range, and won. Amd I've been in lobbies with 4 lvl 40s and lost

Hello. In my last raid lobby that I hosted there was a network issue and the game map or gyms wouldn’t load. So I closed the game and the game was taking a long time on the loading screen. So there were 2 others who I had to invite one of them got frustrated of waiting and left the lobby the other person understood my situation and said it was okay and things like that happen. the other day i hosted a lugia, had 3 lv 20's and 2 lv 33
we failed
however, if we tried once more
and every1 opened my gifts for damage boost
we woupd have been able to do it
