You add the host, wait for the host to send you an invite, head over to the game, accept the invite with your remote raid pass. BOOM! You're raiding

Question for <@&736831668484177920> - lately when I’ve been hosting raids, I get at least one person who either doesn’t join the raid and doesn’t say anything after sending a friend request or tells me after the raid that they never received an invite. What should I do in these situations? I always ask if everyone received an invite. Should I pull the team out of the raid even if one person isn’t responding?

If the user never responds, please let an admin know and they will issue the user a warning/ban. If the person adds you and never receives an invite, it is your job as host to recognize that not everyone is in and pull the team out. This is only if they have added you.

Is there a way to filter low level players from joining tier 5 raids? As tanky as cresselia is, having 3 out of 6 people be sub level 27 in a raid is pretty frustrating

No. We do not discriminate people here. Be sure to put 6 6 as numbers. Normally it should be doable even with lower levels

It's more of a practical issue and, allow me to say this, it shows respect towards the higher leveled players who are risking using a pass for a failed raid attempt

It’s been suggested to us quite some time, but it’ll only bring other issues with it. It’ll fix one thing, but will create more issues. Hence why we keep things as they are now. However if we do find a better system, we will for sure discuss it! So any suggestions are always welcome

I did a cresselia raid earlier and had someone fighting with an eevee. Frustrating for the people trying to take down the boss but maybe that player with the eevee was getting a chance at their first legendary.

It has happened to me as a host and yesterday a hoster had to filter through multiple people who weren't selected but had just added the host. I wonder if it's possible to hide the trainer code of everybody and only when a specific raid lobby is created the trainer code of the host becomes visible?

Right now the chances of getting into a raid are kinda low because they are brand new so literally hundreds of people are competing for each raid @empty epoch
So if you do happen to get into one of the raids the bot will place you into a private channel with the host and the other invitees
In that private channel you can communicate with the host and coordinate
And that’s the point where you go ahead and add the hosts friend code

You need to fix your name first, then you will see the raid channels. When a host posts a raid, you click on the thumbs up icon that appears. If you are selected, a private room will open up. At that point you can add the host, who will send the raid invite to you

It's what you should do in the first place. First you thumbs up, Then you're put into a seperate channel with all people who got in+the host. U then add the host by copy pasting the message the bot generated
The host will then sent out invites as communicated within the newly created channel.

@prisma umbra When someone first posts a raid in the raid channels the bot will place a thumbs up react, you need to react within 90 seconds to get in. The bot will pick people at random.
Make sure to read #welcome-info to correctly format your name and to answer questions about hosting/joining raids too! 🙂
