Gaming Barn Morph Mod Damage Not Appearing

I have a question, i used gaming barn's morph mod and whenever i play as a endermen in survival and i step into the water, i never get that "red damage visual effect on skin" when i get hurt, so what to do? its for a video and that effect isnt showing up its causing issues
