well, your worlds most likely arent gone yet, they should be present in the modrinth directory on your drive. The location varies per operating system, but on linux they should be at ~/.local/share/ModrinthApp/profiles/, and on windows, (some other directories)/AppData/Roaming/ModrinthApp/profiles/ or similar

as for modrinth, i think your version may simply be wrong. uninstalling all versions of modrinth, and installing the latest from the website should fix it
