Error "I/O (std) error: Failed to fetch player profile"

I tried every troubleshooting step on support, reinstalled, installed an old version of the app, purged cache, waiting for my reply email. When I rolled back to 0.7.1 I got: "Minecraft authentication error: Failed to deserialize response to JSON during step MinecraftProfile: missing field name at line 5 column 1".

Using Cloudflare WARP
Logged into Official Launcher and other third-party launchers thousands of times.
System clock sync'd

Emailed support.

Is there anything else worth trying in the meantime?

i have the same problem, and the support page says nothing about the "I/O (std) error: Failed to fetch player profile".
