This crash log is because Better F3 requires Cloth Config API (version 11.0+) as a dependency and it doesn't seem to detect it.

I'm not sure I understand what you described. Is the game crashing with Cloth Config API installed?
If you post the latest.log that can give more information, see instructions below

Yeah with cloth api it crashes without it it starts up but I get the missing mod and without better F3 and cloth API it crashes again

#

I'm going to send the 2 other logs when I can

yep if you could send a log of the crash with cloth API, and possibly the log of the crash without better F3 and cloth API as well, that would be good
It may be another mod that is causing the crash unrelated to those two

#

ill be going to bed soon but i can take a look at the crashes sometime tomorrow or if anyone else stumbles across this thread

Il be able to send it in around 5-6 hours

Here is the error of when I don't have Cloth API activated:

Looks like the last two are the same log since the timestamps are the exact same

#

try the without both mods one again and grab the new log

the log cuts off, did a crash report generate in the crash-reports folder?

#

actually since the mod list is shown I can probably already make some guesses as to what is causing crashes

#

since you have Create it's likely that mods that haven't updated their compatibility code yet are causing crashes with the newest version of Create (since Create had a major version update somewhat recently and takes mods some time to update)

#

There isn't a super efficient way to check which mods have been updated but you can at least go through the Create addons by checking their version history and see if they explicitly state they support Create 6.0.0+ (ideally the closer to the number 6.0.4, the better. Create 6.0.4 is what you are currently on).

For example your version of Create Sifting is out of date and there is a later version that supports Create 6.0.3.
However that's just one example I picked out of the log and unfortunately there are probably other mods out of date. Some of the mods that haven't updated yet might not even be Create addons but other content mods.

Unfortunately it is always a little messy like this for some time after Create has a major update and takes mod developers some time to be able to update the mods.

oh and i haven't mention it yet but this modpack used to be for Fabric but then i converted it to Forge and have cleaned up the modpack for mods that dont exist on forge and i replaced some of them.

Okay looks like its fixed it was some mod from create's addon. But i still dont get why it kept saying it was something with Cloth API and BetterF3?

I'm not sure exactly what could have happened but sometimes if something breaks in the loading process, it'll just keep going but keep breaking more stuff as loading continues until it finally crashes, and by that point what's listed in the crash as the cause, is not what caused the chain of events (roughly speaking)
maybe that is what you saw

#

so it can be helpful to look at both the crash log itself and the latest.log to diagnose the reason for a crash

oh okay thank you
